A black and white postcard featuring Francis Sheehy-Skeffington (1878- 1916). Born in Cavan he was a writer and activist who though he sympathised with the aspirations of the rebels was adamantly pacifist. He was arrested on Easter Monday and shot without trial at Portobello Barracks. 1916
