Description

Coloured hand drawn maps produced by a commission established in 1809 to investigate the bogs of Ireland and report on the 'practicability of draining and cultivating them'. Plate VI covers the bogs lying between Templemore and Roscrea and were surveyed by David Aher in 1811.
