Description

A black and white portrait photographic image of John Walsh, Templemore. 1850 - 1929. He was dismissed from his teaching post in Castleiney and was very involved in both national land league and local politics. He founded his auctioneering business in 1883 and was a member of the first Templemore Urban District Council in 1899. He died on 31 August 1929.
