Description

Black and white photographic image of the front façade of the newly rebuilt Desart Court in Kilkenny, the original palladian house which was burned in 1923 had been one of the finest early georgian buildings in the South-East and belonged to the Cuffe family. The rebuilding was completed in early 1926 but the family eventually sold the property to the Land Commission in 1934. It was demolished in 1957. 21 August 1926
