Black and white image of a roofless Poulakerry tower house. This is an early 16th century Butler tower house and was badly damaged in the Cromwellian invasion, though later repaired and used as a garrison. Restored in the late 20th century as a private residence, the tower is still extant. Kilsheelan, Co. Tipperary.Early 20th century
