Description

A colour photographic image of St. Mary’s RC Church, Clonmel. This was built in 1850 to replace the thatched chapel on the site which had stood there since 1660. The new building was consecrated by the Bishop of Waterford in 1856 . The bell tower was added in 1885 and the portico in 1890. April 1993
