Description

A manuscript notebook kept by Frank Drohan of Clonmel detailing camp organisation in Frongoch internment camp, Wales in 1916. Frank Drohan was heavily involved in the Irish volunteers and the IRB, he orgainsed the Clonmel branch during the Easter rising and was arrested on the 2/05/1916 in a national roundup. He was interned in Frongoch along with other volunteers.
The notebook gives details of daily life in the camp and the continuation of military style organisation among the internees.
