Description

The City Stores, Linen, Drapery and Household. 29 O'Connell Street, Limerick. Black and white image derived from glass plate negative. Design of the plate glass sign was carried out by the firm of J. Hodkinson & Sons, Ecclesiastical & Interior Decorators, Limerick. In the mid 19th century it was a business belonging to John Commins, a manufacturer of lamps & gas fittings in brass and bronze. Today (2023) it is occupied by Rain Outdoors.
