24 page musical theatre programme with obituary for John Hurley, Ann Meade and Madge O'Doherty. The Society changes its name to COS Musical Society to better reflect the varied content, from Operettas to popular musicals, of their productions. Dick Meany resigns as director, Danny Carroll as Musical Director and Paddy Boland as Back Stage Manager. Liam Butler new director for Pirates and Fergal Carroll, Danny’s son, takes over as Musical Director. Also Nuala Oades, President of COSMS, announces that ‘ The Strand Theatre has been purchased by the Society and this is the most exciting and daunting challenge undertaken to date by our courageous Society’.
