Description

A collection of account books from three Ballypatrick/Kilcash businesses ranging from 1916 to 1948. There are job books and client account books from Gibbs Forge, an account book from O’Reilly’s post office and shop, and a job book from Walsh builders. Many of the records give both name and address of account holders and are a useful genealogical aid for the area as well as a social history source for the first half of the 20th century.
The collection was kindly loaned for digitisation by the Gibbs and Flood families.
