The images seem to date to the first half of the 20th century and include many with men in military uniform, possibly dating from the War of Independence and Civil War era as the collection also includes a photograph of the burnt out Military Barracks which was destroyed in 1922.

An account of the resource
A collection of images taken from a photo album found in the attic of McCarthy’s Hotel, Fethard, Co. Tipperary. Many of the images were taken at the rear of the hotel and around Fethard.
The images seem to date to the first half of the 20th century and include many with men in military uniform, possibly dating from the War of Independence and Civil War era as the collection also includes a photograph of the burnt out Military Barracks which was destroyed in 1922.
